The End Is Only Beginning. Get Alien Invasion by Truant and Platt it in Kindle, Hardcover, Paperback or Audiobook.
Meet entrepreneur Meyer Dempsey. Working out of New York, he realizes that preparation without action are worthless. Thus he goes into action, responding on preparations he previously made without ever consciously knowing why. For years, his life has been like a dream, preoccupied with a sense of coming peril. Now he knows what he must do and where he must take his family … if, that is, they can make it before society eats itself alive with fear.
Rather than covering the invasion, this first in the series is about running before the alien invasion reaches the earth.
THEY ARE COMING – Invasion by Truant and Platt
The countdown has begun. The objects are approaching from Jupiter orbit. Awareness of the threat sets humanity on edge. City-wide, no, world-wide panic breaks out. Only a few facts are know and those come via the tracking components of a popular Astral space app. Now everyone has access to those critical bits of information that the government has worked so hard to conceal:
The objects are enormous spheres numbering in the dozens, maybe hundreds. They are on an approach vector toward Earth … and they will arrive in six days.
A Few Reviews of Invasion by Truant and Platt
I have been having trouble finding ANY recently written books worth the effort or the cost, even if free. I finally found a book that kept my attention due to a writing style that flows. No overly descriptive words to describe the scenery like Dean Koontz now uses as filler.
Storyline: Intelligent man with enough money to pre-build a bunker that can house his family til kingdom come. Two typical teenagers you wish he could leave at the side of the road. A wife so young as to be tiresome. An ex-wife on her way to meet them at the bunker, and alien ships filling the skies. SPOILER ALERT: then “nothing”. The ending was crap and merely used as fodder for the series. Before purchasing the series, I read the reviews and decided life is too short.

So what Is Wrong About Invasion by Truant and Platt
I have no idea why there are so many 5-star reviews for this book. The entire book is about a family traveling from New York to Colorado. There were no “Invasion” like the book title suggested. Don’t get me wrong the 6-characters in the book are VERY well developed, considering that 99{5bba240e2677f7fae98abf18047af2e6d333217bd9003caeafca34323475a17d} of the book was used for that purpose alone. The authors went so minute in detail to develop the characters that they left the story out.
The book was free via Kindle so I cannot complain about the price. I did waste a few days reading this book and for the most part I had to FORCE myself to continue reading in hopes it will get better. Unfortunately it was a big disappointment at the end. Maybe that is the reason it is free and make us pay the $4.99 each for Book 2 & 3. No spoilers to tell as I would like others to form their own opinion on the book and hopefully write an honest review.
